The Role
This is your chance to join a dynamic and thriving creative agency in Dublin City Centre as an Events & Marketing Intern.
We are looking for the ideal candidate to join us, in a role that will support our Events & Marketing Teams.
The Events and Marketing Intern will support the planning, coordination, and execution of events, as well as assist with marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a creative environment, working closely with experienced professionals on exciting projects.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The tasks involved in the job will include, but won’t be exclusive to:
Event Support:
Assist in the planning and execution of events, including corporate gatherings, launches, and community-building initiatives.
Coordinate event logistics, including venue bookings, supplier management, and attendee communications.
Provide on-site event support, ensuring seamless execution and a positive client experience.
Marketing Support:
Contribute to social media content creation, scheduling, and monitoring engagement.
Assist in the development of marketing materials such as flyers, presentations, and proposals.
Support email marketing campaigns, including list management, copywriting, and performance tracking.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain up-to-date records of event and marketing activities.
Prepare post-event and campaign performance reports.
Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients as required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Our team works very closely together on several projects, so we are looking for someone who not only has the right skills and passion, but also someone who is adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook).
Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for creativity and innovation.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The role is generally office-based but you may be required to attend networking and media events as well as meetings with clients, suppliers, and partner organisations.
At an early stage, you can expect to work closely with a variety of clients, key spokespeople, and managers, often at the senior level of lifestyle, consumer, and property businesses.
Dress is business casual.
You will be expected to network and socialise with clients, the media, and colleagues to build and maintain relationships.
